Ingleside – Wayne Shedd passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017 with his devoted family by his side. He was 55.

Wayne was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on July 27, 1961 to Leonard John Sr. and Anna Mae (Collins) Shedd. He was a resident of Ingleside and Aransas Pass all of his life. Wayne worked most of his life as a Marine Electrician employed by Leonard’s Marine Electric of Ingleside.

Wayne is preceded in death by his mother: Anna Mae Neville; sisters: Loretta Ann Kurtz and Betty Eileen Prickett; and a brother: Frank Benton Neville.

Survivors include his daughter: Megan Marie Shedd of Houston, Texas; parents: Leonard and Brenda Shedd of Ingleside, Texas and Lonnie and Claudette Neville of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers: Leonard John “Johnny” Shedd, Jr. (Marcelle) of Ingleside, Texas; Robert Leon Shedd of Aransas Pass, Texas; sisters: Beverly Chabra (Greg) of San Antonio, Texas; Roxanna Gordon (Ronnie), DeAnna Galvan (Victor) and Ashley Neville, all of Aransas Pass, Texas; Leah Gaylor (Sam) of Center Point, Texas and Madison Shedd of Houston, Texas; brother-in-law: Arnold Kurtz of Portland, Texas; Megan’s mother: Linda Imbriaco of Aransas Pass, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday, July 20, 2017, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. The family will receive guests from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A private burial will follow at a later date. A Celebration of His Life will follow the visitation from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Methodist Church located at 523 S. Eighth St. in Aransas Pass, Texas.
