Ricardo Licona Trevino

Taft- Ricardo Licona Trevino passed away on February 15, 2021. He was 49.

Ricardo was born in Taft, Texas on April 28, 1971 to Jesus and Adela (Licona) Trevino. He was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Ricardo graduated from college with a master’s degree and later worked as a Superintendent employed by Taft ISD. He loved fishing with his wife. Ricardo supported all sporting events and was a big fan of the Taft Greyhounds. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his paternal grandparents: Felix and Juliana (Longoria) Trevino; maternal grandparents: Herminio and Consuelo Licona; father-in-law: Gilberto A. Rivera.

Survivors include his loving wife: Carolina Trevino of Taft, Texas; daughter: Analisa Trevino of Taft, Texas; son: Ricardo Trevino, III of Corpus Christi, Texas; parents: Jesus and Adela (Licona) Trevino of Taft, Texas; sister: Julia Alvarez (Demetrio) of Taft, Texas; brothers: Andres Trevino (Deanna) of Gulfport, Mississippi; Victor Trevino (Indira) of Houston, Texas; Alfredo Trevino (Penise) of Taft, Texas; Roberto Trevino (Patricia) of Houston, Texas; David Trevino of Portland, Texas; Jose Trevino (Monica) of Taft, Texas; mother-in-law: Refugio Rivera of Taft, Texas.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening at 7:00 PM at the church. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021, 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Palms Memorial Gardens, Taft.
