Corpus Christi – Adam Joshua “A.J.” Dunlap passed away January 20, 2019. He was 34.
AJ was born October 5, 1984 in Taft, Texas to Lynda (Clark) and Daryl Dunlap. AJ lived in Sinton most of his life, and most recently in Corpus Christi. He attended Sinton schools and was currently working as a Legal Assistant. AJ was the most caring individual anyone could ever meet. He was always nice, kind, polite and respectful of everyone he encountered. AJ always responded with “yes, ma’am” and “yes, sir”. He took pride in his appearance, always making sure his clothes were pressed and in order, and loved wearing suits. AJ crossed skydiving off his bucket list, but was delayed telling his mother, knowing she might object to the dangers involved. He was a loving son, brother and friend. AJ will be dearly missed by everyone who crossed his path.
Preceding in death are his maternal grandparents, Everett and Lily Clark and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Mary Dunlap.
Survivors include his parents: Lynda and Al Jamison; Daryl Dunlap; a sister: Amber Dunlap (Stephanie Rodriguez), all of Corpus Christi, Texas; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be begin Thursday, January 24, 2019, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The funeral service will be held the same evening, 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
