Aransas Pass-Albert Guzman, Sr. passed away April 17, 2017. He was 73.

Albert was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 12, 1943 to Alfredo and Guadalupe (Leal) Guzman. He was a resident of Aransas Pass, Texas for the past 20 years and formerly Jacksonville, NC.

Albert proudly served in the U.S Marine Corps. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Albert was a retired Civil Service Employee and also worked as a helicopter mechanic for a combination of 38 years.  

Albert is preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe Leal.

Survivors include his son: Albert Guzman Jr. (Laura Jean Ainsworth) of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughters: Tara Peffley (Joe) of Cedar Point North Carolina; sisters: Minnie Sanchez, Corpus Christi Texas, Alicia Perez (Hodge), Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers: Art Gonzales (Suzane) of Aransas Pass, Texas; Jay Lantham of Louisiana; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
