Taft – Alejandro "Ray Ray" Torres passed away peacefully on April 4, 2019. He was 1 year old. Alejandro was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 24, 2017 to Ivan and Amanda (Amaya) Torres.

Preceding in death is his maternal grandfather: Crespin Amaya Sr.; maternal great-grandmother : Juanita Fuentes; uncle: Israel Torres Jr.; and cousin: Mason Resendez.

Survivors include his parents: Ivan and Amanda Torres of Taft, Texas; sisters: Kaeleigh Amaya and Arieana Havens both of Taft, Texas and Lylynn Torres of Sinton, Texas; brothers: Ivan Torres, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; Kaine Havens, Israel Torres and Juan Torres all of Taft, Texas; maternal grandmother: Nora Amaya of Taft, Texas; paternal grandmother: Juanita Torres of Taft, Texas; paternal grandfather: Israel Torres of Dallas, Texas; paternal great-grandmother: Sylveria Castillo and paternal great-grandfather: Manuel Castillo both of Taft, Texas. Numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019, 5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A prayer service will be held the same evening, 6:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 12, 2019, 12:30 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
