Wylie - Amelia Ochoa Casarez passed away peacefully on March 18, 2019. She was 87.
Amelia was born in Yorktown, Texas on February 7, 1932 to Manuel and Guadalupe (Salas) Ochoa. She was a resident of Wylie, Texas for the past 17 years and formerly of Sinton, Texas where she was employed as the assistant manager of Maverick Market.
Preceding in death are her parents: Manuel and Guadalupe Ochoa; sisters: Ida Ochoa Montelongo and Alice Ochoa Reyna.
Survivors include her son: John Roland Davila (Deborah) of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren: Stephanie Ann Davila of Victoria, Texas and Roland Andrew Davila (Nohemi) of Harlingen, Texas; great-grandchildren: Jorge Rankin and Adrian Alexander Jimenez, both of Victoria, Texas; Roland Andrew Davila and Adrian Alexander Davila, II, both of Harlingen, Texas.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019, 11:30 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A graveside service will follow, 12:00 PM, in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
