Aransas Pass –Anastine Dora McJolly passed away on July 17, 2018. She was 91. She was born September 12, 1926 in Patterson, Louisiana to Jesse and Mary (Halls) Paul. Anastine was a resident of Aransas Pass. She was displaced to Corpus Christi then Portland as a result of Hurricane Harvey. Anastine was a beloved Mother and Grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Anastine is preceded in death by her spouse: David McJolly; and former spouse: Linwood M. Cooper.

Survivors include a son: Marvin D. Cooper of Virginia; daughters: Ana M. Belt of Mt. Clemmons, Michigan; Jeanette M. Thomas (Leslie) of Chicago, Ill; Ruby M. Cooper of Chicago, Ill; Germaine Cooper of Memphis, TN; the grandson she raised: Quincy Cooper; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
