Antonia Espinoza Rivera

Sinton – Antonia Espinoza Rivera passed away peacefully on June 4, 2019 with her loving family at her side. She was 83.

Antonia was born in Sinton, Texas on September 25, 1935 to Martin and Maria (Cervera) Espinoza. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton.

Antonia was a former employee of Flores Grocery Store and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her husband: Enrique Rivera; son-in-law: Adolfo Saldana; parents: Martin and Maria Espinoza; sister: Luz Martinez; and brothers: Martin, Juan and Miguel Espinoza.

Survivors include a son: Joe Fuentes (June) of Virginia; a daughter: Linda F. Saldana of Sinton, Texas; 6 grandchildren: Yvonne DeLeon (Eddie), Adolfo Saldana, Jr., Rebecca Coates, Solana Fuentes, Clinton King and Kristi Brody; 12 great-grandchildren: Issaiah DeLeon, Eryiann DeLeon, Evelynn DeLeon, Rodney Saldana, Alyssa Coates, Monica Coates, Domineek Coates, Estevan Coates, Bryant King, Tyler King, Delante Brody and Alexis Brody; brother: Manuel Espinoza of Sinton, Texas; and sister: Juana Zambrano of Plainview, Texas.

Visitation will begin Friday, June 7, 2019, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, June 8, 2019, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton, Texas. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
