Odem – Arcelia Rendon Thompson passed away peacefully on July 16, 2019. She was 64.
Arcelia was born in Sinton, Texas on January 7, 1955 to Alfredo and Felicita (Hinojosa) Rendon.
She was a loving wife, mother and a devoted Jehovah Witness.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Alfredo and Felicita Rendon; nephew: Augustine “Auggie” Alfredo Rendon.
Survivors include her husband, Rex Thompson, of Odem, Texas; her son Matt Thompson, of Odem, Texas; brothers: Arnulfo Rendon, of Corpus Christi, Texas; Alejandro Rendon, of Odem, Texas; and Alfredo Rendon Jr, of Odem, Texas; sisters: Angelica Rodriquez, of La Porte, Texas; Ana Jones, of Odem, Texas; Rosa Carrino, of Spring Field, Illinois; and Molly Castillo, of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
