Augustine "Auggie" Alfredo Rendon

Sinton – Augustine “Auggie” Alfredo Rendon passed away on April 30, 2019. He was 24.

Auggie was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 31, 1995 to Alfredo H. and Leolanda (Castillo) Rendon. He was an operator employed by Xtreme Coil Tubing based out of the Jourdanton / Pleasanton area. Auggie was raised in Sinton, Texas and was currently living in Mathis. He was a die-hard Sinton Pirate who loved football. Auggie was a hard-working man devoted to his wife, children, family and friends. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and kayaking. Auggie, and his dog, Sox, were not contained indoors for any length of time. Together, they would ride his 4-wheeler everywhere and anywhere they could. He leaves behind many stories and many fond memories. Auggie was a beloved husband, father, son and grandson. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his grandparents: Felicitas and Alfredo Rendon, Sr.

Survivors include his wife: Miranda Rendon of Odem, Texas; son: Ayvehn Rendon; daughter: Luna Rendon; parents: Alfredo and Leo Rendon of West Sinton, Texas; brothers: Issac Rendon (Ana) of West Sinton, Texas; Reno Renee Rendon (Carly) of San Antonio, Texas; sister: Felicia Rendon of West Sinton, Texas; grandparents: Silvestre and Mary Lou Castillo of Sinton, Texas; mother-in-law: Linda G. Rodriguez of Odem, Texas; brother-in-law: Daniel Rodriguez of Odem, Texas; sisters-in-law: Esmeralda Rodriguez of Houston, Texas and Odalys Rodriguez of Odem, Texas; nieces and nephews: Braylon, Cora, Cameron, Abraham, Kennon, Trey, E’Layna, Edgar, Jr. “E.J.” and Elias; great-grandmother-in-law: Consuelo Garcia of Odem, Texas; numerous cousins, friends and his dog, Sox.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton, Texas. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Chapel services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019, 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Sinton. Burial will be private.
