Sinton – Beatrice Garcia Jimenez passed away peacefully December 2, 2017. She was 76.

Beatrice was born September 5, 1941 to Alvina (Llamas) and Andres Garcia in Campbelton, Texas. She spent her early years in Aransas Pass, Texas, Banquete, Texas and most recently Sinton, Texas. Beatrice married the love of her life, Juan Jimenez. They would have been married 53 years on December 6. Beatrice was a former employee of HEB in Aransas Pass, Ingleside and Corpus Christi. She worked in the meat department as a wrapper.

Preceding Beatrice in death are her parents: Andres and Alvina Garcia; and her brother-in-law: Gregorio Jimenez, Jr.

Survivors include her husband: John Jimenez of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Jo Ann Jimenez Guerra (Neil) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Elizabeth Ann Arias of Robstown, Texas; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, December 5, 2017, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A holy rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton.

Private burial will be held at a later date.
