Ingleside – Bill “Papaw” Edward Brown passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018 with family at his side. He was 86.

Bill was born May 29, 1932 in Plainview, Texas to Frank and Ruth (Smith) Brown. He was a self-employed cabinet maker for 25 years. His first job was with Phillips Petroleum. He owned and operated a tire shop and was a former farmer. He called Ingleside home for the past 30 years and had previously lived in Kansas.

Preceding Bill in death are his spouse: Lois “Granny” Brown; parents: Frank and Ruth Brown; sisters: Sybil, Louise and Edna.

Survivors include his sons: Wesley Brown (Marilyn) of Wichita, Kansas and Curtis Brown (Becky) of Hartley, Texas; daughter: Kay Griffith (Gary) of Ingleside, Texas; grandchildren: Shannon; Shonda:; Shane; Dakota; Darquel; Quinton; Wesinda; Brandon; Brandt and Jennie; 25 great-grandchildren: and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
