Carmen H. Espinoza

Mathis – Carmen H. Espinoza passed away February 15, 2018.  She was 92.

Carmen was born August 7, 1925 in Dinero, Texas to Concepcion (Bocanegra) and Eliseo Herrera.  She was employed working various jobs to support her family. Carmen was a maid, a dishwasher and she never shied away from hard labor. She will be dearly missed by the children and grandchildren she loved.

Carmen is preceded in death by her husband: Pedro Espinoza; a daughter: Yolanda Bustamante; a grandson: Enrique Castillo; and her parents: Eliseo and Concepcion Herrera.

Survivors include a son: Martin Bustamante, Jr. (Consuelo R. Valdez) of Grand Prairie, Texas; a daughter: Dolores B. Bordayo of Mathis, Texas; a brother: Santiago Herrera (Isabel) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters: Genoveva H. Espinoza and Erenia Espinoza, both of Mathis, Texas; 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Friday, February 16, 2018, 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
