Chance Perez

Corpus Christi – Chance Perez passed away September 22, 2019. He was 18.

Chance was born on May 5, 2001 in Corpus Christi. He was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. He was a senior at Harold T Branch Academy and also attended Del Mar College. Chance was a loving, caring and simply a joy to be around; his personality impacted and touched many people’s lives and had a smile that would light up a room. 

Preceding in death is his brother: Clint Perez.

Survivors include his mother: Mona Lisa Vasquez of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers: Aaron Flores and Cecil Perez, IV; sister: Samantha Flores; maternal grandparents: Narce Delgado and husband John, all of Corpus Christi, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 beginning at 4:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Cathedral.  A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at The Corpus Christi Cathedral. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 27, 2019, 1:00 PM at The Corpus Christi Cathedral. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Flores, Nick Paredes, Frank Chavira, Tristan Herrera, Josh Ybanez, Nicholas Alvarado, Zachary Alvarado and Christoval Rodriguez.
