Sinton – Charles Ray Duhart passed away peacefully on April 6, 2019. He was 67.
Charles was born on April 15, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Dennis Duhart, Sr. and Ollie Belle (Green) Duhart.
Charles was a resident of Sinton most of his life. He had formerly lived in Victoria, Texas and Los Angeles, California. Charles was formerly employed by MCC (Mitchell Construction) as a Carpenter. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served his country in the US Army. Charles was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding in death is his wife: Jeanette Taylor Duhart; his parents: Dennis and Ollie Duhart; brothers: John Wayne Duhart, Douglas Duhart and Dennis Duhart, Jr.; sisters: Marie Duhart, Norma Jean Hardin and Joyce Mollette.
Survivors include his brothers: Albert Hardin, Jr. (Agnes) of Inglewood, CA; Claude Duhart (Cynthia) of Sinton, Texas and David Duhart (Mary) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters: Ollie Murphy and Denice Thomas (Hermie), of Corpus Christi, Texas; Dell Telford (William) of Sinton, Texas; Mary Jewel Duhart of Beeville, Texas; and many extended family and church members.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019, 6:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019, 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Murphy as Master of Ceremonies. A Graveside Service will be Monday, April 15, 2019, 11:00 AM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating.
