Crystal Castillo Villalobos passed away April 22, 2017. She was 33.

Crystal was born in Taft, Texas on October 18, 1983 to Juan Dimas and Christy (Ramirez) Castillo. 

Crystal was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. She graduated Taft High School in 2002 and the University of Texas in San Antonio with a Bachelor Degree in Education. Crystal was a 4th grade writing teacher at RA Hall Elementary, Beeville ISD, for two years. Crystal was a beloved wife, loving daughter, sister and aunt with a beautiful soul and a big heart. She was called upon by God to become an angel to us all. Always thinking of others before herself, she was a caring teacher and awesome friend. She dearly loved her husband and family. Everyone was blessed to have known her.  

Crystal is preceded in death by her father: Juan Dimas Castillo; grandparents: Leopoldo and Maria Ramirez and Narciso and Antonia Castillo.

Survivors include her husband: Kevin James Villalobos of Taft, Texas; parents: Christy and Danny Cortez of Taft, Texas; brothers: Dimas Juan Castillo Jr. of Taft, Texas and Adrian Ramirez of Portland, Texas; sisters: Matilde Marie Castillo and  Marlena Castillo (Ronlee) and Jessica Lopez (Antonio), all of Taft, Texas; in-laws: Guadalupe and Salvador Salazar and Eusebio James Villalobos (Yvette), all of San Antonio, Texas; brothers-in-law: James Jason Villalobos (Cassandra), Gabriel James Villalobos, Matthew Salazar (Angelica) and Isaac Luna, all of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law: Crystal Salazar Cisneros (Jeremiah) of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 12:00 noon at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 27, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. Burial will follow in Taft Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.

We will never forget you. We will miss you always. We love you so much, Crystal. We will see you again.
