Taft - Cynthia S. Gonzales passed away August 9, 2017. She was 45.

Cynthia was born in Taft, Texas on June 8, 1972 to Raul, Sr. and Blanca (Saldivar) Gonzales. She was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas currently employed as a truck driver for Mission Petroleum.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Ramon and Anita Saldivar; paternal grandparents: Gilberto and Fidela Gonzales; and nephew Raul Gonzales, III.

Survivors include her partner: Jennifer Castillo; parents: Raul, Sr. and Estella Gonzales; son: Mitchell Gonzales; daughters: Brittany Montez and Minka Gonzales; brother: Raul (Kim) Gonzales, Jr.: sister: Gracie (Roland Alvarado) Gonzales: niece: Blanca Alvarado; and nephews: Orlando Alvarado and Jaymin Suarez, all of Taft, Texas.

Visitation will begin Saturday, August 12, 2017, 5:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be recited Sunday, August 13, 2017, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 14, 2017, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. Burial will follow in Taft Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
