Mathis – Dolores B. Bordayo passed away peacefully March 9, 2018.

She was 73.

Dolores was born March 10, 1944 in Sweeney Switch, Texas to Carmen (Herrera) and Martin Bustamante, Sr. She was a resident of Mathis for and former resident of Rosenberg, Texas and North Carolina. Dolores was a former seamstress who was very creative with her hands.

Dolores was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and daughter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Dolores is preceded in death by a son: Juan Enrique Castillo; parents: Carmen and Pete Espinoza; her father: Martin Bustamante, Sr., and a sister.

Survivors include a daughter: Emma Grace Valle of Edinburg, Texas; a son: Eduardo Castillo of Mathis, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Martin Bustamante, Jr. (Consuelo R. Valdez) of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Visitation will begin Sunday, March 11, 2018, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton.

All other services will be private.
