Esperanza Mendoza Ramirez

Sinton – Esperanza Mendoza Ramirez passed away peacefully on January 3, 2020 with her loving family at her side. She was 83.

Esperanza was born on January 19, 1936 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Antonio and Paula (Elizardo) Mendoza. She lived in Sinton more than 61 years. Esperanza was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her plants and gardening. Esperanza was proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her parents, Antonio and Paula Mendoza; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband: Rene R. Ramirez of Sinton, Texas; sons: Ramiro Ramirez (Joyce) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Mario Ramirez (Betty) of Portland, Texas and Rene Ramirez, Jr. (Dora) of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Angelita Lopez (Juan) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Dalia Martinez (Adan) and Nelda Espinoza (Abel), all of Sinton, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 6, 2020, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.  A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 7, 2020, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton with Father Pete Elizardo as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.

Pallbearers will be Roland Ramirez, Jason Chapa, A.J. Martinez, Abel Espinoza, Jr., Michael Ramirez and Robert Lee Ramirez.
