Sinton– Estevan D. Castillo passed away on November 4, 2019 with his loving family at his side. He was 61.

Estevan was born on January 22, 1958 in Sinton, Texas to Eladio and Olivia (Diaz) Castillo.

Estevan was born and raised in Sinton, Texas. He was employed by the Sinton Lease, Tennessee Pipeline and H&K Construction. Estevan was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Eladio and Olivia Castillo; his son: Leonel Castillo; his daughter: Estephana Castillo; his sister; Hortencia Castillo; and brother: Gilbert Castillo.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years: Esmeralda Franco Castillo of Sinton, Texas; his son: Estevan Castillo Jr. (Candace) of Pasadena, Texas; daughters: Yvonne Gatica (George) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Clarissa Ann Reyna (Arnie) of San Antonio, Texas; brothers: Eladio Castillo Jr. of New Braunfels, Texas and Ramiro Castillo of Sinton, Texas; grandchildren: Desiree Stewart, Stephanie Just, Malcolm Stewart, Desiree Reyna, Natalie Reyna, Isaiah Castillo, Leonel Castillo Jr., Maddison Gatica, Ysabella Gatica, Chloe Castillo, Dominic Reyna, Tristan Reyna, Cash Gatica, Caiah Castillo and Oliver Reyna; great-grandchildren: Elijah Thibodaux, Noah Just, Ava Castillo and Alaya Castillo; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will held in Sinton on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A holy rosary will be recited on Wednesday, evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 7, 2019, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
