Gloria "Diana" Hernandez

Sinton – Gloria “Diana” Hernandez passed away peacefully on October 3, 2019. She was born on August 5, 1952 in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Jesus and Emilia Garcia de Mireles.

Diana lived in Sinton more than 47 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her parents: Jesus and Emilia Mireles; sister: Ma. deJesus Mireles Garcia.; and sister-in-law: Carmen Silva.

Survivors include her husband: Joe R. Hernandez of Sinton, Texas; 1 daughter: Karen Hernandez of Friendswood, Texas; 4 sons: Ricardo Enriquez (Elvia) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Gabriel Hernandez of Houston, Texas; Joe Hernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas; Sergio Humberto Mireles; 7 grandchildren; sisters: Lucila Mireles Garcia (Petronilo Ramos Campos); Maria Guadalupe Mireles Garcia; Maria Enriqueta Mireles Garcia (Albert Castillo); Maria Emilia Mireles Garcia; brothers: Lugardo Mireles Garcia (Ana Maria Vazquez); Fransisco Mireles Garcia; Jesus Mireles Garcia; Juan Manuel Mireles Garcia; brother-in-law: Fransisco Gutierrez Casas; and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 7, 2019, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 8, 2019, 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton, Texas, with Father Glen Mullan as celebrant.

Burial will held the same afternoon, 2:00 PM, at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi.
