Gregory – Guadalupe R. Garcia, 65, passed away on August 29, 2017.  Her loving family was by her side.

Guadalupe was born on July 27, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Arturo Rodriguez and Dolores (Vasquez) Rodriguez.  She was a lifetime resident of Gregory, Texas. Guadalupe's passions were sewing, cooking for family, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Survivors include her husband: Jose Luis Garcia Sr. of Gregory, Texas; sons: Jose Luis Garcia Jr., (Kimberly) of Ingleside, Texas, Jerry Lee Garcia (Crystal) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jackie Lafayette Garcia (Leslie) of wildomar, California; and one daughter:  Valerie Gonzales of O' Fallon, Illinois. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, including: Jonathan Luis Garcia, Jay Lawrence Garcia, Jett Matthieu Garcia, Hailey Jo Garcia, Kathryn Thomas Hook, Courtney Marie Garcia, Lorelai Taylor Garcia, Justin Lane Garcia, Jaiden Tyler Garcia, Victoria Brooke Garcia, Michael Gonzales Jr., and Maximus Gonzales.

Guadalupe is also survived by her 3 brothers and 4 sisters.  

Sequence of events:

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton, Texas.

Public visitation from  4:00PM to 8:00 PM. 

Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Aransas Pass.
