Chance, my sweet first cousin- oh how much we laughed as kids and then later as young adults...Chance, I can still hear your voice, I can hear how you'd say my name, in short- I can feel your love. And this old world feels, just not right, without knowing you are in it. You have one of the kindest souls I've ever met, and yes I know you, like me, like a lot of us, had struggles, but we held on and kept on going. I love you, Chance. And I know our spirits will meet again soon. God love us. ♥♥♥

One of the other things I was thinking about lately is how when I ended up in the hospital 3 times in a short time span last year, I wouldn't feel like going on the computer much when I finally got home from the last hospitalization. But I did sparingly and my good FB friend, Chance, was there with words of encouragement for me. He and I both loved mention of good food and we both had a sense of humor that matched and kept us entertained. He may have lived a shorter life, but with all his accomplishments in the military and professionally, his life was a very quality one. He was a man that his friends, but especially his family, can be proud of. <3

Chancy was a good man and step father, a gentle giant with the biggest heart. He loved and adored his family. My deepest condolences to Gracy, Henry and Micky. May God put his loving arms around you and lift you up through this time and keep you well. You all will be in my prayers.

My prayer for the Castillo family is that God bring you peace and love at this time. There was never a finer person than Chancy. In all my time knowing him I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone or thing. He had a very big heart and was a good person. This world will miss him dearly. May you rest in the arms of our dear savior Jesus Christ. Amen
