Sinton – Irene Galindo passed away peacefully March 16, 2017 with her beloved family at her side. She was 64.

Irene was born in Kingsville, Texas on August 6, 1952 to Bernardino and Maria Adelfina (San Miguel) Gonzales. She was a resident of Sinton, Texas more than 20 years. Irene had lived in Taft, Texas and Corpus Christi, Texas previously. She was a Unit Clerk at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi more than 40 years.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardino and Maria Adelfina Gonzales; and a sister: Marcela Reyes.

Survivors include her son: Kenneth Galindo (Jo Anna) of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Olivia Carrizales (Nuno) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Crystal Galindo (John) of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Mary Lou Galindo of Taft, Texas and Norma Munoz of San Diego, Texas; 7 grandchildren: Kevin, Jacob, John, Jayden, Jordan, Kalub and “One Princess”…Elayna; and her companion: Juan Lozoya.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A holy rosary will follow the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 20, 2017, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Galindo, Nuno Quintero, John Olbera, Kevin Ruiz, Juan Lozoya and Desi Galindo.
