Janet Wilison

Jourdanton – Janet Wilison passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019. She was 80.

Janet was born on February 6, 1939 in Sinton, Texas to Pearlie Mae (Alexander) and Houston Doyle Perkins. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton, currently living in Jourdanton, Texas. Janet was the Chief Jailor since 1999 for San Patricio County and retired after 29 years of dedicated service with the Sheriff’s Deparment.

Preceding in death are her sister Janie Lou Barbree and brother Doyle Perkins.

Survivors include her husband: James Wilison of Jourdanton, Texas; sons: Paul Cullison (Kathy) of Portland, Texas and David Carl Cullison (Kristi) of Portland, Texas; grandchildren: Paul Cullison, Ashley Bachman, Bradley Cullison (Victoria), Daniel Cullison (Kaely) and Jared Cullison; mother-in-law Peggy Wilison of Runge, Texas; sisters-in-law: Debbie Elizondo (Louie) of Runge, Texas, and Linda Martin (Darrell) of Runge, Texas

Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019, 11:00 AM at Sinton Cemetery, Sinton.

In Lieu of flowers. Donations may be made in Janet’s name to The American Cancer Society, The Diabetes Association or Alzheimer’s Awareness.
