Jesus Moreno, Jr.

Taft – Jesse Moreno, Jr. passed away July 12, 2018.

He was born in Sinton, Texas on May 10, 1974 to Jesus and Gracie (Rodriguez) Moreno.

Jesse grew up in Taft, Texas. He returned to Taft in 2009 after living in Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jesse was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He will be forever remembered and loved by everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Cristoval and Clementina Rodriguez;  Juan Z. Moreno; and mother-in-law: Janet Campbell.

Survivors include his wife: Trina Moreno of Taft, Texas, son: Jesse David Moreno of Taft, Texas; daughter: Lindsey Nicole Moreno of Taft, Texas; parents: Jesus and Gracie Moreno; brothers: Javier Moreno of Chicago; Jaime Moreno of Taft, Texas and Kristopher Moreno of Taft, Texas; grandmother: Marcelina F. Moreno of Taft, Texas; and father-in-law: David Campbell of Prattsburgh, NY.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 5:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday July 19, 2018, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Taft with Father Pete Stanley as celebrant. Burial will follow, 2:00 PM, in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
