Juan M. Valderrama

Taft – Juan M. Valderrama passed away December 23, 2018. He was 87.

Juan was born March 30, 1931 in Alma, Texas to Dolores and Manuela (Martinez) Valderrama. He was a resident of Taft, Texas and former resident of San Antonio. Juan was a former employee of Luby’s Cafeteria and numerous eating establishments.

He is preceeded in death by his parents: Dolores and Manuela Valderrama; a brother: Jose Valderrama; and sisters: Celia Lopez and Tomasa Mendoza.

Juan is survived by a brother: Jesus “Chuy” Valderrama of Taft, Texas; a sister: Maria Sanchez (Jaime Rodriguez) of Portland, Texas; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Friday, December 28, 2018 at 4:00 PM. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 29, 2018, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Taft with Father Pete Stanley as celebrant. Private burial services will follow.
