Aransas Pass– Kathryn Lee (Smith) Johnson passed away March 9, 2018. She was 69.

Kathryn was born April 3, 1948 in Tulia, Texas to Sally Ruth (Mercer) and John Taylor “J.T” Smith. She was a resident of Aransas Pass, Texas since 2008 and former resident of Washburn, Missouri and Bunker Hill, Missouri. Kathryn was a former Accountant by Cooper Communications for 25 years. She and her husband, Larry, moved to South Texas to get away from the cold winters in Missouri. Kathryn was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents: Sally and J.T. Smith; and daughter: Sherri Lee Johnson Clancy.

Survivors include her husband: Larry Johnson of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughter: Shannon Coleen Johnson of Washburn, Missouri; and grandchildren: Kevin, Kyler and Kayla.
