Sinton - Linda Janet Joyce passed away peacefully on October 30, 2017. She was 70.

Linda was born in Robstown, Texas on September 29, 1947 to J.W. and Louise Lawson Harden. She was a former beautician by trade. Sinton was her home for the past 40 years, but being married to a sailor, she formerly resided in Maryland and Virginia.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: J.W. and Louise Harden; son: Steven Joyce; sister: Elaine Little; stepfather: Peter Forest; and grandmother: Nina Lawson.

Survivors include her daughters: Patricia Lowder (David) of Missouri and Shannon Adams (Edward) of Sinton, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 9 grest-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister: Bonnie Hartung (Gary) of Sinton, Texas; and stepbrother: Adam Harden.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A chapel service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017, 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made directly to Resthaven Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
