By coincidence, I just found out, that Lonnie passed away. I am very sorry for Lonnie's familiy and friends. I met him as a very helpful and enthuiastic person, always with a special humor. Way back in 1998 I ran into him, doing a story for German television in little town San Patricio, when this mayor with a patroit on his shoulder came around to welcome us in person. Just a few weeks later we returned, filming a great story on the rattlesnake race. Without Lonnie this would have been never possible! Thank you and all the best wishes to his familiy!

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Lonnie honored me by engaging my services as a surveyor for the last few years. I really enjoyed his office visits and the stories he told about his many and varied travels and experiences.

Lonnie and Cloe,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He was a great man and I have many fond memories of my life in Old San Patricio and lots of them include your mom and dad and the two of you. I know he will be greatly missed. I will be thinking of you both as you honor him this weekend. God Bless you both. Be very proud of the difference he made in the lives of many. He will be fondly remembered.

Our heartfelt sympathies to the entire Glasscock family. Lonnie was a loved and treasured member of our family. His limitless supply of stories and his unique wit contributed to his ability to converse with a broad range of people. He had the ability to relate a situation to a trip taken or book read and apply it to the conversation. He was kind and thoughtful and his family was very important to him.

We will miss him terribly, as I know you all will.
