Lucy Linda Rodriguez

Sinton – Lucy Linda Rodriguez passed away peacefully March 2, 2018 in Corpus Christi after a brief illness. She was 62.

Lucy was born March 13, 1955 in Granite City, Illinois to Gertrude (Ybarra) and Damasio Vasquez Sr. She was a former employee at Ferguson’s in Odem.

Lucy is preceded in death by her husband: Ruperto Rodriguez; and father:  Damasio Vasquez Sr.; sisters: Virginia Alvina Garcia and Adela I. Villagran; brothers: David Vasquez, Ernesto Vasquez, Anthony Raymond “Ray” Vasquez; and an infant sibling.

Survivors include her sons: Mario Zamorano (Rosemary) of Rockport, Texas and Ruben Rodriguez of Sinton, Texas; her mother: Gertrude Vasquez of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Susie Alvarez, Guadalupe “Lupe” Ayala, Lorraine Guzman, Emma Vasquez, and Anita Saucedo; brothers: Jose Luis “Louie” Vasquez, Jessie Vasquez, Steve Vasquez and Damasio “Danny” Vasquez.

Visitation will begin Thursday, March 8, 2018, 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. All other services will be private.
