Corpus Christi – Maria C. “Connie” Bratcher passed away August 23, 2017.  She was 63.

Connie was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 8, 1953 to Benito and Romana (Silva) Gonzales.  She was a lifetime resident and native of Corpus Christi, Texas. 

Connie was a licensed counselor and supervisor at the Starz Methadone Clinic in Corpus Christi for many years. 

She is preceded in death by her baby boy, Rafael Manger on June 13, 2015, aged 39. 

Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-nine years, William Bratcher; her daughter, Geneva Marie Lemley and son-in-law Rodney Allen Lemley of Crosby, Texas; daughter-in-law, Christina Manger. Also surviving Connie are her grandchildren, Pamela Jill Bench (Chase) of Crosby, Texas; LLCP Aaron M. Stone, II of California; Hannah-Mae Lemley of Crosby, Texas, Sierra Marie Manger of Corpus Christi, Texas; Linkon Rafael Manger of Corpus Christi, Texas; Preston-Loyd Frank Lemley, Price-William George Lemley and Zenna Lorna Manger.  She is survived by 1 great-grandson, Grayson Aaron Bench. 

Connie is also survived by her three brothers, six sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton, Texas on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, 10:00AM to 11:30AM. A graveside service will be held the same day, 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
