Mario Alcazar Martinez

Sinton – Mario Alcazar Martinez passed away August 16, 2018 at his residence. His loving wife was at his side.

Mario was born May 7, 1953 in Sinton, Texas to Maria (Alcazar) and Guadalupe E. Martinez, Jr.  He was 65.

Mario was a resident of Sinton, Texas and attended Aransas Pass schools. He was a former employee of ISS in Sinton. 

Mario is preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe and Maria Martinez; and his brothers Lorenzo, Joe and Wally Martinez.

Survivors include his wife: Janie Martinez of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Gloria Torres (Angel) of Aransas Pass, Texas and Rosalinda Soliz of Rockport, Texas; step-daughters: Ida Denton (Joseph) and Ileen Delossantos (Jaime), all of Sinton, Texas; step-brother: Johnny Martinez (Flor) of Austin, Texas; 8 step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will begin Friday, August 24, 2018, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Grace Christian Fellowship in Sinton. A prayer service will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the church with Pastor Sandra Moreno officiating. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
