Sinton – Mark Benton Gingrich, affectionately known as “Big Show “, passed away July 4, 2018. He was 49.
Mark was born in Sinton Texas on February 13, 1969 to Richard O. “Dickie” and Charlotte B. Gingrich. He attended Sinton schools, being a proud Sinton Pirate. He also attended Texas A & I University in Kingsville Texas. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was employed by Industrial Site Services, Inc.
Mark was a diehard football fan. Win, lose or tie he rooted for his favorite teams, the Texas Aggies and Houston Oilers and Texans.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte and Dickie Gingrich, and his grandparents: Sonny and Mildred Gingrich, and Clarence and Pauline Burch.
Survivors include his brother: Richard O. Gingrich Jr. (Rosie) of Sinton Texas, sister Stephanie Gingrich of Dallas Texas, nieces Shelby Gingrich of Corpus Christi Texas, and Olivia Gingrich of Sinton Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a family of friends from the Good Samaritan Homeless Shelter.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2018, 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Sinton. The funeral service will follow, 11:00 AM, at the church. Burial will be in Sinton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you consider a donation to the Good Samaritan Homeless Shelter, 210 S. Alameda St., Corpus Christi Texas 78401.
