Mary Esther Soliz

Sinton – Mary Esther Soliz passed away peacefully on June 15, 2019. She was 72.

Mary was born in Sinton, Texas on September 2, 1946 to Domingo, Sr. and

Genobeba (Contreras) Soliz. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.

Preceding in death are her parents: Domingo, Sr. and Genobeba Soliz; brother: Patricio Soliz and his wife, Elida; sisters: Irene Esparza; Anita Hunt and Gloria Diaz.

Survivors include her sons: Noe Garcia, Jr. (Yvonne) of Dallas, Texas; Daniel Garcia of Sinton, Texas and Chris Garcia (Edna) of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Irene Frances Garcia of Bryan, Texas; Mary Grace Flores of Sinton, Texas and Leanna Nichol Gonzales (Bryan) of Sinton, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers: Domingo Soliz, Jr. (Betty) of Sinton, Texas and Ray Soliz (Bea) of Arizona; sister: Alice Alaniz of Sinton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Monday, June 17, 2019, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.

Pallbearers will be Chris Garcia; Christevahn Garcia; Daniel Garcia; Nicholas Serna; Brenton Garcia; Dustin Ramos; Roger Sauceda and Andrew Sauceda.
