Aransas Pass – William Matthew “Matt” Love passed away August 23, 2018. He was 44.

Matt was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 13, 1973 to Ted and Janis (Clark) Love. He worked as machinist and irrigator. He was formerly employed by Love Oil Co. and Kwik Cut in Ingleside. Matt was a current resident of Aransas Pass, and former resident of Corpus Christi.

Matt is preceded in death by his father: Ted Love; mother: Janis Clark Millhorn; and an uncle: Curtis Clark.

Survivors include his wife: Debra Love of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughter: Mia Love of Arlington, Texas; step-son: Ryan Strayer of Aransas Pass, Texas; step-daughters: Clare Strayer of Aransas Pass, Texas; Haley Strayer of Aransas Pass, Texas; Emily Green of Clinton, Iowa; Laura Khullar (Chetan) of Seattle, WA; 1 step-grandchild: Elijah Green; brothers: Lawrence Cooper of Minnesota; Jason Lindial of Oregon; sisters: Pamela Love; Debby Cooper of New York; step-mother: Betty June Love of Goliad, Texas; one aunt; two faithful and loving companions: his dogs Johnny Cash and Canella Honey; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
