Odem - Pedro “Pete” Garza, Jr. passed away peacefully on December 21, 2019. He was 51.

Pete was born in Sinton, Texas on June 2, 1968 to Pedro, Sr. and Sulema (Garcia) Garza. He was an employee of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in New Braunfels, Texas as a Texas Works Advisor II. Pete enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death is his brother: Michael “Mike” Garza.

Survivors include his wife: Jennifer Garza of New Braunfels, Texas; step-children: Ethan, Alexa and Julie Portillo; parents: Pedro Sr. and Sulema Garza of Odem, Texas; brother: Rene Suarez and Freddy Garza, both of Odem, Texas; sisters: Alma Suarez and Sylvia Garza, both of Odem, Texas; Irma Hernandez (Javier) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mary Columbus (Donnie) of Sinton, Texas; 11 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew.
