Richard O. Rosario

Aransas Pass, Texas - Richard O. Rosario, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019.  He was 76.

Richard was born in Manhattan, New York on July 17, 1943 to Ernest and Ruth (Lichtig) Rosario.  He was preceeded in death by his parents and sisters, Marion Dennis, Marie Freneire and Karen Rodriguez also one daughter Margaret Rosario.

Richard was a resident of Aransas Pass, Texas and formerly of Ingleside, Texas and Rosedale, New York.  He was a volunteer fireman at Kingston, New York and retired after nearly 30 years as an Assistant Mechanical Superintendent at the National Guard Armory in Kingston, New York. 

Survivors include his sons Rick Rosario (Sherri), Robert Rosario, and Russell Rosario (Kimberly) all of New York; grandchildren: Auroradawn, Rebecca, Beth; sisters: Stella Herrmann-Chandler (Tommy) of Ingleside, Texas; Emily Nimako and Gloria Krause all of New York.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 5:30 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass.  A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00PM at the funeral home.  A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019, 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church at Ingleside, Texas.
