Richard "Rick" Shedd Obituary
Taft – Richard Lester “Rick” Shedd passed away peacefully on January 10, 2020. He was 56.
Rick was born on October 16, 1963 in Heidelberg, Germany to Donald Lester and Evelyn Marie (Caine) Shedd. He attended Taft schools and was a resident of Taft more than 30 years. Rick was formerly employed as a Director with KRIS TV station (Channel 6) in Corpus Christi. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding in death is his father, Donald Shedd and brothers, Ronald Shedd and Randall Shedd.
Survivors include his mother: Evelyn Shedd; brothers: Michael Shedd and Steven Shedd, all of Taft, Texas; a niece: Rhonda Shedd of Sinton, Texas; and many friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 17, 2020, 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Taft.
