Rosalie "Rose" Routh

Rockport – Rosalie “Rose” Routh passed away peacefully March 3, 2019. She was 79.

Rose was born October 23, 1939 in Wathena, Kansas to Effie Lavon and Victor Lawrence Droz. She was a resident of Rockport more than 40 years. Rose owned and operated Rose’s Country Kitchen in Rockport. She was a beloved member of the community who will missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy Quinn; granddaughter: Jennifer Linebarger; and her parents: Victor and Effie Droz.

Survivors include her husband: Almon Brundrette of Rockport, Texas; sons: Vincent Whisenand and Joe Routh, both of Rockport, Texas; daughter: Lisa North (Robert) of Shelbyville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Norma Bear, Patricia Huffman and Shirly Honz, all of Kansas.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. The Funeral Service will be held the same day, 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockport.
