Aransas Pass - Sara Cruz passed away June 4, 2017. She was 40.

Sara was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on April 26, 1977 to Samuel and Oralia (Ortiz) Cruz.  She was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass, Texas.

Sara is survived by her sons:  Gilbert Medina, IV (Bernice Cano) and Aaron Cruz, both of Aransas Pass, Texas; Joseph Medina;  Anthony Medina and Robert Medina; her mother: Oralia Cruz of Aransas Pass, Texas; father: Samuel Cruz of Mexico; sisters:  Mary Jane Musgrave (Dan Ford) of Austin, Texas; Belinda Garcia (Frankie) of Aransas Pass, Texas; Michelle Davila (Adelino Papo Robles) of Austin, Texas; Elizabeth Morgan (Delvon) of Aransas Pass, Texas; and Antoinette Cruz of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers:  Arnold Davila (Vickie) of Aransas Pass, Texas; Jessie Davila (Debbie) of Austin, Texas; and George Davila (Cynthia) of Austin, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Thursday, June 8, 2017, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 9, 2017, 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow in San Antonio Cemetery, Rockport.
