Portland – Sharyn Rae “Pickle” Grosvenor passed away September 28, 2017 in Portland, Texas with her family by her side. She was 79.

Sharyn was born October 21, 1937 to Maurice and Dorothy (Wilson) Mix. Pickle was a resident of Portland 20 years and native of Iowa. She worked formerly as a phone operator and CNA. Pickle was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portland, Texas and frequently attended services at Arlington Baptist Church in Calallen, Texas. She loved her church families and both churches. Pickle was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Her parents, Maurice and Dorothy Mix, precede Sharyn in death.

Survivors include a son: Sean Grosvenor (Sheila) of Nebraska; 2 daughters: Nicole Jimenez (Lupe) of Portland, Texas and Son-Ja Meza (Jaime) of Sinton, Texas; grandchildren: Shane Grosvenor, Trevor Grosvenor, Ashton Jimenez, Cruz “Chubbs” Jimenez, Jasper Meza and Joy Meza; and one sister: Janean Williams (John) of Stephens City, Virginia.
