Aransas Pass – Stanley Wayne Storer passed away October 1, 2017. He was 65.

Stanley was born in Abington, Virginia on September 7, 1952 to Roberta (nee Kyar) and Benjamin Franklin Storer.

Stanley was a resident of Aransas Pass since January 2017 and former resident of Lima, Ohio. Stanley was a retired Engineer. He had degrees in Chemical Engineering, English and Theology. Stanley served his country in the US Marine Corps. He was a devout Christian whose faith was strong. He attended First United Methodist Church and First Christian Church in Aransas Pass.  Stanley was an avid sailor. He loved boating and living by the water.

Preceding Stanley in death are his parents: Benjamin Franklin and Roberta Storer; and a sister: Patricia Storer.

Survivors include a daughter: Holly Kristen Storer of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers: Andrew Storer, Benjamin “B.J.” Storer, Gerald Storer, Joel Storer, James Storer and J.R. Storer; a sister: Judith Storer; and his church family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that monetary donations in Stanley Storer’s name be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
