Sinton – Wanda Peeples Fairly passed away peacefully on June 4, 2019. She was 77.
Wanda was born in Banquete, Texas on January 3, 1942 to Luther Wesley and Minnie Lucille (Hutto) Peeples. She was a resident of Sinton / St. Paul, Texas for 48 years and prior to that, Annaville, Texas. Wanda was the owner of San Pat Upholstery and former secretary for Mobil Oil. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death are her parents: Luther and Minnie Peeples; brothers: Luther Wesley Peeples, Jr. and Hardy Winston Peeples.
Survivors include her husband: Bobby Fairly of Sinton, Texas; a son: Robert Fairly, Jr. (Sherwin) of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Charlotte Tullis (William) of Bastrop, Texas; Danna Sherrer (Payton) of Odem, Texas; Laura Menn (Robert) of Bastrop, Texas; grandchildren: Suzanne D’Leigh Marshall; Richard Kyle Smith; Lyndsey Delaine Smith; John Robert Garth Fairly; Erin Elizabeth Harbaugh; Matthew Calvin Harbaugh; Jacob Ryan Tullis; Allison Lynn Bailey; Madison Sherrer; Makenzie Sherrer and Masyn Sherrer; great-grandchildren: Charlotte Delaine Cook, Addison, Brandon and Chase Marshall; brother: Wayne Peeples (Linda) of Cotula, Texas; sister: Kathy Peeples of Austin, Texas.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, June 9, 2019, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 10, 2019, 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Odem, Texas. The Graveside Service will be in Gillett Cemetery, 2:00 PM in Gillett, Texas.
