Aaron Malachi L. Mendoza Obituary
Aaron Malachi Lindley Mendoza was an amazing husband and father, son, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to anyone that knew him. He was a faithful servant of Jehovah. He will be missed more than words can say by all those who knew him. Malachi’s life was tragically cut short on September 11, 2026, in Ingleside, TX. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Edna Lindley. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Coral, his daughter Shelby Leann, his parents Salvador and Grace Mendoza, his sister Camille (Marvin) Chavez, his brother Philemon (Becki) Mendoza, his parents-in-law Carlos and Elizabeth Leal, his brother-in-law Josias (Anna) Leal, his niece Trinity, and his nephews David, Samuel, and Eden, as well as his very special Aunt Kathy and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. Malachi was born in Gregory, TX, on April 26, 1984. From the time he was very little, he loved anything with wheels—Hot Wheels as a kid, skateboards and bikes when he was young, and cars and motorcycles as an adult. His artistic skills found an outlet in custom automotive painting. He had a wide array of interests, including space, drawing, and a love of music. He was even a self-taught guitarist. Malachi was always ready for a taco run with a friend or a beer with his dad. Malachi and Coral were together for 22 years. They met when they were young and truly grew up together. They were married on March 1, 2009. As a husband, he always worked hard to provide for the family so that Coral could enjoy being a stay-at-home mom for many years. He even had a nickname at work: “Over Achiever.” Malachi was such a fun dad. He was always encouraging, patient, funny, and supportive of Shelby. Malachi, Coral, and Shelby truly made a beautiful life together. Malachi was one of those people who was special to everyone who knew him. His mother- and father-in-law said he was really like a son to them; his brother-in-law Josias said he gave him the best memories of his life; and his sister-in-law Anna said, "He left an impression on our lives that will never be forgotten. “He had a special place in the lives of his family, his friends, and everyone who was able to spend time with him. He was always there when someone needed help; that’s just the kind of man he was. His brother, Philemon, said, “I am very happy I had Malachi as my older brother. I loved him very, very much, and I will miss him deeply for the rest of my life. “His sister Camille summed it up well: “Malachi was a creative thinker, a natural problem solver, and a hard worker—qualities he learned from his dad. He was fiercely loyal, a trait he learned from his mom, and always stood up for his siblings with a strong sense of justice. He was quick-witted with a sharp sense of humor, bringing lightness to life and reminding us not to take everything “so seriously.” Malachi looked forward to enjoying life in a beautiful paradise on Earth. We will all miss him and can’t wait to welcome him back, where we can enjoy spending time with him forever. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” -Revelation 21:4
