Austin - Adam Curtis Gaconnet passed away Friday, April 29, 2022. He was 32. Adam was born in Sylmar, California. He was raised in Rockport, Texas and was living in Austin, Texas at the time of his death.His passion was working music festivals and being a graffiti artist. He went by the tag name Zomek. His artwork is displayed in various towns.He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend to anyone he met.He was preceded in death by his father, Ronney West and 2 sisters, Michelle and Brooke Williams and all of his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Debi West, girlfriend Nicole Vreeland, son, Mayson Mercer, brothers T.J. West (Jennifer), Bret Gaconnet (Tamara Summers) and 3 sisters Mary Stofa, Kathleen Flanigan (Chad) and Candielee Shaver (William); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his Austin family of friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, May 12, 2022, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be Friday, May 13, 2022, 1:00 PM (1300) at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Aransas Pass, Texas. Adam will be cremated following services.
