Alta Faye "Bobbie" Bushong

Sinton – Alta Faye “Bobbie” Bushong passed away November 6, 2023. She was 89.

Bobbie was born August 27, 1934 in Sinton, Texas to Margaret (Oelschlegel) and William Otis Berry. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton. Bobbie married the love of her life, James Stanley Bushong on July 18, 1952. She was a homemaker who instilled traditional values and virtues in her children. Bobbie loved the Lord, and her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bushong; son-in-law: Garry Pinkston; parents: William Otis and Margaret Berry; brother: William Otis Berry, Jr.; and sister: Doris Wilkerson.

Survivors include her daughters: Debbie Pinkston from Odem, Texas and Cindy Scroggs (Randy) from Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Nicholas Pinkston (Tara), Stanley Joe Pinkston (Lauren) and Courtney Cotten; great-grandchildren: Piper Pinkston, Max Pinkston, Sadie Pinkston, Lucy Pollard, Summer Joe Pinkston, Cotten Pollard and Libby Pollard; sister-in-law: Christine Bushong from Blanco, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 13, 2023, 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. Burial will follow in Sinton Cemetery, Sinton.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Pinkston, Stanley Joe Pinkston, Max Pinkston, Cotten Pollard, Gary Fagan and Richard Hopkins.
