Ana M. Rivera

Taft – Ana M. Rivera passed away September 25, 2021. She was 75.

Ana was born January 2, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Pedro and Petra (Villegas) Rodriguez. She was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Ana worked as a housekeeper. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Ana is preceded in death by her husband: Jose Rivera, Sr.; sons: Joe Rivera, Jr. and Robert Rivera; daughters: Hilda Rivera and Patricia Rivera; parents: Pedro and Petra Rodriguez.

Survivors include her sons: Lionel Rodriguez and Manuel Rivera both from Taft, Texas; daughters: Sandra Pullido (Richard) from Corpus Christi, Texas, Vanessa Rivera from Taft, Texas and Veronica Adame (Estevan) from Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter-in-law: Nellie Rivera from Taft, Texas; 22 grandchildren ; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother: Roland Villegas from Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters: Frances Rocha from Sinton, Texas and Rosario Martinez from Corpus Christi, Texas.

Visitation will begin Thursday, September 30, 2021, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at the funeral home at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 1, 2021, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. Burial details are to be announced.
