Anita Bustos Rodriguez

Taft – Anita B. Rodriguez passed away November 26, 2021. She was 77.

Anita was born on April 17, 1944 in Taft, Texas to Gonzalo and Maria (Garcia) Bustos. She was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Anita was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Salvador Rodriguez; son: Salvador Rodriguez, Jr.; parents: Gonzalo and Maria Bustos; sisters: Mary Bustos and Simona Bustos.

She is survived by her sons: Teofilo Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez (Joyce), Steve Rodriguez all from Taft, Texas and Jimmy Rodriguez from Rockport, Texas; daughters: Anita Geraldine Oramas (Felipe) and Alma Linda Rodriguez all from Taft, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers: Antonio Bustos (Teresa) from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Gonzalo Bustos, Jr. (Angie) from Taft, Texas; sisters: Guadalupe Lozano, Lydia Estringel both from Taft, Texas and Lucia Pigg from Houston, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, November 29, 2021, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. Burial will fbe on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 11:00 AM in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Rodriguez, Christian Rodriguez, Chris Chapa, Eric Lee Rodriguez, Sr., Abel Salinas and Robledo Riojas.
