Antonio Cruz Cuellar

Taft – Antonio Cruz Cuellar passed away on May 17, 2022. He was 59.

Antonio was born on May 18, 1962 in Sinton, Texas to Manuel and Pascuala (Cruz) Cuellar. He worked as a supervisor for the City of Taft. Antonio was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Manuel and Pascuala Cuellar; brothers: Manuel Cuellar, Jr., Adan Cuellar and Raul Cuellar; sister: Lydia Gonzales.

Survivors include his loving wife: Teresa Cuellar from Taft, Texas; sons: Antonio Cuellar, Jr. and Richard Cuellar both from Taft, Texas; daughters: Cindy Cardenas (Eric) and Jennifer Cuellar all from Taft, Texas; grandchildren: Rekko Cuellar, Reena Cuellar, Ryan Cuellar, Adelina Cardenas and Adria Cardenas; sisters: Janie Salcido and Lilly Cuellar both of Taft, Texas and Gloria Garcia of Odem, Texas and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, 4:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
